Confluence Gallery presents

Shadow and Light

January 16 - February 27
Opening reception January 16 4-8pm FREE

Shadow defines light and light defines shadow, giving definition to the world around us. Artists will explore shadow and light in many dimensions; physical and metaphorical, literal and abstract.

Shadow and Light seems a description of our wonderful, snowy winters with dappled light on snow, frozen rivers, all with our low winter sun throwing long shadows. The other seasons come to mind with Shadow and Light being special to each.

But is that all it is? Stepping away from literal ideas we think of shadow and light of the human psyche, of dreams, hopes, fears or dealing with the challenges of everyday life.

Curated by Mary Lou McCollum, Shadow and Light presents a mesmerizing exhibit with variety of mediums and artists exploring the theme. Several new artists are in the gallery and we hope you will enjoy a walk through this wonderland of light.

Thanks to our exhibit sponsors KTRT, Sawtooth Dental, and Floyd Company.
