Confluence Gallery is located in the heart of the Methow Valley - known for it's stunning vistas, wild open spaces and rugged mountains - imagery which is at the heart of Kelly's creative work.

These contemporary works of art are created on museum wrapped canvas - which are carefully covered with a texture medium followed by high end acrylic gouache. Once dry - layers and layers of oil paint are applied by brush and palette knife to create the final imagery. The mood is created thorugh rich dramatic colors and the placlement of soft clouds next to rugged mountain edges.

Kelly Sooter's work is sought by collectors nation wide - from Georgia to California to Washington. An artist for over 25 years, Sooter has studied with 4 European Master Artists and the one of America's most loved landscape artists - Nancy Bush of Fredericksburg TX.
