Confluence Gallery will host the Fellowship Quartet String ensemble for a free concert in the gallery July 29th.
The Fellowship Quartet concert is sponsored by the Methow Chamber Music Festival as part of the Music as Muse exhibit.

Each summer the Methow Chamber Music Festival assembles the Fellowship String Quartet, an ensemble of college students who are majoring in instrumental performance and plan to become professional musicians, to present free concerts for the Methow Valley community. The 2016 Fellowship Quartet members are students at Oberlin Conservatory of Music in Oberlin, OH. Founded in 1865, Oberlin is the oldest continually operating music conservatory in the United States. This year’s members are Asher Wulfman, violin; Delaney Meyers, violin; Stephen Hart, viola; and Miriam Liske-Doorandish, cello.

Artist Cammy Davis will co-create an abstract painting inspired by the string quartet music in the gallery. Cammy is a mixed-media artist from Southern Oregon whose work has been featured at fine art galleries throughout the Northwest. She produces art tutorial videos and most recently “Music Art Videos” showcasing how music affects and inspires her creativity. Cammy’s painting will be auctioned during the Music as Muse exhibit.
