Call for Submissions!
Artist in Residency Program Fall 2015
One selected artist will receive three months of studio space at Confluence Gallery in Twisp, WA
October 1st – December 31st and a solo exhibit in the Gallery gift shop during the months of January – February 2016.
Studio space is located on the second floor of the Confluence Gallery. The studio is 230sq ft, with two divided workstations. The smaller workstation is perfect for writing, reading, or computer work with a built in desk and lots of shelving. The larger workstation has two large built in desks, one for sitting and one for standing, and some built in shelving. The studio has one window for natural light. The entire space is carpeted.
The studio space has access to a communal kitchen, an outdoor deck and two bathrooms. Artists will have 24 hour access to the studio.
Artists will provide all other materials needed to support creating a body of work for the exhibit. Materials used during residency must be conducive to a public working environment near offices and other studios. Please no loud tools or toxic materials.
The works created in the residency must be completed and ready to display by January 9th for an opening reception date of January 16th at the Confluence Gallery.
