Opening Reception: Tracks

What Remains But a Leaving of Bones
Caryl Campbell, oil on canvas

The Confluence Gallery invites you all to our Opening Reception for a brand new exhibit!

"Tracks" opens on January 10th with an artists reception from 4-8pm

The show runs through February 14th.

The ideas of memory tracks, tracks of scars both on the body and on the earth, tracks of detritus left by humans or disasters, bones, feathers, ashes, roadways, fences, old buildings, ancient orchards.
The list is almost endless and still includes the tracking that wildlife predators and their prey are involved in for survival.

Tracks can mean many things to many people and this exhibit explores various interpretations through the artistic lens of more than 30 local and regional artists.
Viewing their visions will likely bring to mind even more ways that Tracks surround us.

Please join us to explore all of the unique and meaningful ways that our artists have interpreted the theme. Mary Lou McCollum has curated a rich and wonderful variety of art for this exhibit.
