The Loovre, Confluence Gallery, September 27 - November 8, 2014
Do the precious things we acquire over time define us? How do we choose what to keep? Which to let go of? What if we lose or break something irreplaceable? How can we hold these things lightly without fear of losing them? Laura Gunnip's installation 'What's whole is already broken' is in 'The Loovre' at the Confluence Gallery from September 27 - November 8, 2014.
"To live in this world you must be able to do three things: to love what is mortal, to hold it against your bones knowing your own life depends upon it, and when the time comes to let it go, to let it go." - Mary Oliver
Love the crystal vase because it is already broken.
