In conjunction with our current exhibit Our River, Confluence Gallery & Art Center will hold a panel discussion on Friday, June 13th. The purpose of this panel is to engage in dialogue about our river and what it means to us as a community. The informal discussion will be facilitated by Derek Van Marter, Executive Director of the Upper Columbia Salmon Recovery Board.
Panel members include:
Bruce Morrison, artist
John Crandall, fish ecologist
Kelleigh McMillan, farmer and poet
Elaine Marquezz, former guide and commercial fisherwoman
Lynette Westendorf, musician
Kevin Van Bueren, North Cascades Fly Fishing guide
Ray Peterson, OCEC Board Member
Kent Woodruff, wildlife biologist
Doors will open at 5:30pm. The guided discussion will begin at 6pm. Finger food and refreshments will be served. This is a free event, although a small donation will be requested for refreshments.
