Twisp: A portrait by the people

Friday, May 25
10am

Artist Laura Gunnip leads a collaborative “portrait” of Twisp. Meet at Confluence, disperse to collect or create; collage, objects, images, words and found materials from around town. Laura will guide class-goers in uniting these gathered elements into a 'portrait’ of Twisp. This is a tremendous opportunity to learn about participatory art and gain hands on experience creating an installation.

Laura Gunnip is a master printmaker as well as an advocate for participatory, site-specific art. Currently she’s exhibiting the thought provoking, whimsical and interactive “Transformation Hut” at Confluence Gallery for the “Beyond the Surface” exhibit. The “Hut” and much more of her work is on view until June 9.

No previous experience is required.
Tuition is $35.
