the Gallery gift shop October 15 -November 19 2016.

Renee finds never-ending inspiration

During her residency at Confluence,
Renee’s intent is to discover and develop a signature style to advance herself
as an artist. She plans to work with a looser brush stroke style, more apparent
line work and similar color schemes reflecting the valley’s ever-changing
compositions. With these discoveries of style and theme, she will spend her
residency creating a body of work expressing this valley’s beauty and variety.
Renee Kaup received a BFA in
painting and drawing from University of Utah. She was a teaching artist from 2005
– 2012 in drawing, painting and printmaking at Gardenia Center, Sandpoint, ID.
Renee has participated in solo and group exhibitions primarily in Idaho and Nelson
BC since 2003.
