Confluence Gallery invites you to our always evolving Jewelry Lounge in the Gallery gift shop. Featured this month is Kate Luete of Furious Fancies.
Kate creates one of a kind, bohemian jewelry with found objects and salvaged vintage items mixed with new pieces, to create an entirely unique look and feel. Each piece is hand-crafted with quality, hard to find materials and an inventive imagination. She works to make each customer feel "Curiously Adorned".
Kate says "I have a bohemian spirit and a love for the unique and unusual. I feel that a piece of adornment should tell a story when someone wears it; that it shouldn't be a simple arrangement of complimentary colors and shapes, but more, that it should intoxicate and spellbind the way that a riveting tale around a campfire at night invades your thoughts and dreams, painting pictures of adventures, romance, magic, and danger. I have always sought exciting new experiences, and subsequently I want to look like I have a tale to tell. And so my creations have stories behind them as well, waiting to be carried and hung like a mystery on the bodies of those who choose to take them home."
We have a new selection of new jewels with Tibetan crystals, North African charms and vintage baubles from around the world. These sell out fast, so come on in and take a peek soon! We love it!
