Confluence Gallery Annual Membership Party November 6th!
Join us for the Confluence Gallery Annual Membership Party
November 6th 6:30pm – 10pm at the Winthrop Red Barn
$35 ticket price includes membership or FREE to current Confluence Gallery members
Join us for a Contra Dance Party with Red Crow Band from Seattle WA at the Winthrop Barn as a Thank You to the members of Confluence Gallery. Live music and a caller will get you on your feet and swinging!
Together since the turn of the century, Red Crow has been playing Contra and Square Dances all over the Northwest. Members Susan Burke (fiddle), Howie Meltzer (fiddle) and Chuck Pliske (piano/concertina) come from seminal bands of NW Contra Dance. Joe Micheals (guitar/caller) rounds out the foursome. The style of music is distinctly Celtic with New England, French Canadian and Southern tunes to match dances of that genre. Twin fiddles add harmony to the fun. The music is infectious, driving and hypnotizing!
Dinner picnic boxes will be available for purchase from Rocking Horse Bakery, featuring specialty sandwiches on freshly baked ciabatta rolls, Autumn Salad with Methow Valley ingredients, and an Outlaw Espresso Brownie.
Two no-host bars will be available for your enjoyment and FREE Blue Star Coffee to keep you going!
Flat Dance shoes are recommended for a Swingin’ GOOD TIME!
Pick up your event entry wristband at Confluence Gallery Oct 31 – Nov 6 or at the door.
Volunteers needed! Call us if you want to pitch in! 509-997-ARTS
