We invite you to contribute to our
It’s the Little Things – Miniature Art Exhibition at the Confluence Gallery in Twisp, WA. The show will open on November 21 and will run thru January 9th, 2016
Little treasures begin to speak a powerful story that belies its size. Small art whispers, beckoning you closer to reveal its secrets. Tiny, but, mighty!
Confluence Gallery will present a Holiday show featuring miniature works of art. We are looking for artists to create and submit quality FINE ART “smaller than usual size”. Works that can be held in the palm of the hand up to 6’x6’x6’ in size.
In addition to Fine Art Miniatures, the gallery will present finely crafted HOLIDAY ORNAMENTS. Artists may submit a collection of holiday ornaments, as well as, FINE ART miniatures or on their own.
Here are the rules - Submit at least 4 pieces up to 25 total of FINE ART and/or 5 or more (up to 25) hanging holiday ornaments.

- Your own original work.
- Available for sale.
- Created in the last 3 years.
- Never previously been shown in the Methow Valley area (except for holiday ornaments)
- No larger than 6’x6’x6’ in Size
- Any Medium except photography or computer generated medium
- Ready for hanging with appropriate hardware/wire secured to work (works without hanging hardware will not be hung)
Please note the curator(s) have the right to refuse work , even after work is delivered to the gallery, if it does not contribute to the direction, cohesiveness, or available space of the show. We are looking for high quality execution and thoughtful content that contribute to the vision of the show as stated above.
Deadlines:
· Intent to Submit by October 7th, 2015 send Artist Bio and sample of work
to salyna@confluencegallery.com
· Jpegs of work or work in progress by November 1, 2015
· Artist Statement and Bio by November 1, 2015 (in email or word doc only, no pdf's or handwritten statements please).
· Completed works, Inventory Sheet and Confluence Gallery Contract by November 13, 2015
· Show Opening November 18th, 2015 4pm – 8pm. All artists are encouraged to attend.
· Show Closes January 9th, 2016 with a closing reception. Work will be available for pick up Sunday January 10th between 10 and 2pm.
The Confluence Gallery and Art Center is a non-profit gallery. All shipping costs to and from the gallery of unsold works is each artist's responsibility. See Confluence Gallery Shipping Procedures form for details.
