For the second year in a row, Confluence Gallery & Art
Center will be offering six weeks of summer art camps for children ages 6-10.
Camps will take place in the Confluence classroom every Wednesday through
Friday, beginning July 10, 10am-2pm. Camp themes will
change every week. Children may sign up for one or all six weeks of camps. Camps
focus on skill development, tapping creativity and nurturing self-expression.
Confluence is currently seeking teachers to facilitate its
summer art programs. A diverse array of art is encouraged, including (but not
limited to) mosaics, ceramics, collage, painting, drawing, print making, and
multi-media.
Applicants should have interest and experience in teaching
art to children. Applicants interested in teaching positions should submit a
letter of interest, resume, a sample lesson plan (for a children’s art lesson)
and list of three professional and/or academic references. Candidates contacted
for interviews will need to bring a teaching and/or art portfolio for review.
Deadline for applications is March 15, 2013. Please submit
application materials to:
