Fused Silver Hoop Earrings
with Jenni Tissell
Thurs, Oct 25, 5-8 pm
Adults only. Register by Oct 20
Event Location: Confluence Gallery
Cost: Tuition/$85, supplies/$15
The perpetually upbeat Jenni Tissell teaches another of her popular silver jewelry classes at Confluence Art Center from 5-8 pm on October 25th.
Fused silver hoop earrings are created by pounding dissimilar metals together. During the 3 hour class Jenni guides students through the basic process and presents additional ways, like using beads and wire wraps, to give unique accents and character to the earrings.
News flash: Christmas is right around the corner and taking the time to hand craft jewelry makes for a very special gift. Give Confluence Gallery a call to sign up by the October 20 deadline.
Jenni Tissell owns Retro Pony Cowgirl shop in Winthrop and has been designing and making jewelry for many years. She’s well known for her jewelry that perfectly balances thoughtful design and fine craftsmanship with the artfully revealed signs of being hand crafted. It’s no surprise that the buyers from Sundance Catalogue asked her to produce jewelry for them. She declined the offer so she could continue to do what she loves, make her one of a kind creations.

Once again I missed out on a jewelry making class in my area. I love to figure how to make silver hoop earrings, because crazily enough nothing else matches my facial structure. Chandelier earrings make my face heavy, so I’ve always worn silver hoop earrings & want to learn how to make some!
